General Experience

Mr. Bond has been in the active practice of law since 1968. Mr. Bond has served for over twenty years as general counsel for The Texas A&M University System, during which time he has managed, mediated and resolved hundreds of grievances, complaints and claims. Serving as deputy chancellor, Mr. Bond has line reporting responsibilities for the areas of system-wide facilities, planning and construction, insurance and risk management, patentable discoveries and technology transfers, research park and facilities, and the system-wide real estate management office. For three years prior to his retirement, Mr. Bond served the A&M System as vice chancellor for public affairs and supervised the legislative activity at the state and local level. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Bond enjoyed a successful ten year career as an insurance and real estate broker.
